Old Lady Shopping!

Image

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a lovely Pancake day and Valentines day! I ate sooo many pancakes!

Last weekend me and my girls Grace and Aimee went on a journey to Harpenden! This is out favourite charity shopping location and we usually find plenty of vintage items to quench our bargain thirst!

Image

Harpenden is one of those places where wealthier old people tend to live and retire, so (and it sounds horrible, but) there tends to be some nice old lady items going for sale in charity shops, which makes us happy! But sad for the old ladies!Image

Caught in the act of buying beautiful goods!

Now, Grace being a photographer, she kindly recorded the day of fun for me, and took some lovely pics of my outfit as we raided Harpenden! The weather was cloudy and looked like it would rain at any moment! This did not deter me from wearing just a jacket! Infact its my favourite leather jacket! Bought from cheap old New Look, it is one of the best purchases from there I have ever made!

Image

I have added my H&M fur stole to the jacket, mainly for warmth but boy does it look good too! The striped skirt and the polka dot tee are both also H&M! Giving me a nice monochrome but patterned look!

Now to add in some colour I have draped an Accessorise green pendant around my neck and added in one of my old lady charity shop bags. It was only 99p!!!

Yeah, so I’m wearing my old faithful boots again! I can’t help it I love them too much! They make my legs look longer! Haha! So all in all its a little bit of a sexy outfit for going around charity shops but ah well! It gives me a bit of a thrill!

Look this letterbox matches my bag!!

So what did I buy from the Charity shops? Well not that much this week, but they sure are pretty, behold!

Image

So I got this beautiful little white granny bag, which has a clasp in the middle and two zip pockets to either side, making it really quite roomy and boxy (which I LOVE). I bought it for £4.99, and for being a white bag, we found it in amazing pearly white condition! The only part that needs a clean is the inside, but not much at all! The other purchase was a lovely burgundy pencil skirt. I tried it on in the shop to test it out and it made my bum look pretty sweet! So I bought it as it was only a fiver! It was an original Hobbs skirt, so good quality stuff too!

So very happy with Harpenden today! Bought some hot stuff and looked hot while doing it ;) Haha I hope anyhow! Have a great evening guys!

I moustache you a question!

Image

Wow its February already! At least the snow is gone and the weather a little warmer. This weekend has been a pretty crazy one, even though I only work weekdays, it felt like I was at work all weekend! On Saturday me and Grace went to meet some clients for a new wedding that we will be photographing in August. Grace has her own photography business which I help her out with. We do photographs for any occasion, if you fancy checking us out we have our own website www.graceandtheheart.com.Image

We both dressed smartly for meeting the new clients, both donning signature moustaches! My lovely Moustache necklace is from Accessorise, I saw it one day and it had to be mine! Grace was the one who actually bought it for me!Image

I love a good shirt and this is one of my favourites. It was from Asos and I love its contrast collar and contrast cuffs in black, looks really simple but striking. My jacket is an old faithful jersey blazer from Zara. I love Zara for its quality, value for money and incredible style!I also love the little contrasting cuffs!Image

Ah yes its the old charity shop bag again! Its my go to bag at the moment as I love its contrast leather and gold clasp. Its just the perfect size for all my things, phone, purse, umbrella, diary, lippy and sunglasses (just incase)! My jeans are my favourite, from River Island, they are the perfect fit and show off your bum really well!!

Now for the boots! I asked for these for Christmas and they are the best and comfiest boots I own! They are suede studded boots from Asos and I love them. They make any outfit feel more classy and smart, and they include my favourite accessory, studs! Sexy!Image

So if you need a smart yet fashionable outfit for an important business meeting, look no further! Team a shirt with a blazer and a bit of a heel and you are set! Monochrome with jeans works well for me with a different colour bag and gold highlights, which give the outfit a bit of depth.

So, Sunday (and last Sunday) me and my friends have been filming and taking photos for a project, and I have been the model! It is going to be very surreal and creepy and hopefully we will be able to post photos on here (even if they are sneak previews) of some of the things we have been filming! Its gonna be good!

Don’t eat yellow snow!

Today was the first sunny day after a week or so of snow and icy weather. I took this opportunity to wear the brightest colour I had! The coat was a charity shop find (I AM IN LOVE WITH IT) and because I am not a fan of the rounded collar, I have added a H&M furry stole. I think it gives it a bit of vintage glamour. The bag is another charity shop find, a cheap one might I add, and the hat is from Accessorize. Its so fluffy!

Shoes are Debanhams, I am in love with studded shoes! Just need to get some more studded accessories now I reckon!ImageImage

Under the coat I am wearing a plain black vest top and an Asos dragonfly print skirt. Its such a lovely flattering shape as it is made from soft drapey jersey. The necklace is, yep you guessed it, charity shop woo! This one was oxfam and I love it as it is massive! I love black and gold necklaces as they give an outfit a touch of the 1920’s. Plus you always need the accessory of red lippy! It never fails!

Hope you like the outfit guys. It sure kept me warm today!
